It’s cold outside and I’m being a homebody. Later I’m broiling a steak, but right now I’m watching TV.
I just found a new show on HGTV: Freestyle. They just move the stuff you have in your home around so that it works better. The host Aaron Foster started out almost comically exuding this seventies vibe, but he has character, and can move around a room at least as well as I can.
But more amazingly, was the Spanish channel that is always airing great 90’s sci-fi. It’s always dissapointing to be channel surfing and come to a great movie on it, and realize I can’t understand a thing being said. But Meteor Man is easy enough to understand. If you haven’t seen it, It stars Robert Townsend as a schoolteacher that gets hit by a glowing green meteorite and gains super powers so that he can fight some drug lords. The scene when the bloods and crips join together to help Meteor Man is heartwarming. I added it to my Netflix Queue.
